Guide
Pubs and bars near Hill Dickinson Stadium
Walking the Fliers route from Moorfields to the ground? Here's where to stop on the way — real places, currently open, ordered so you can just keep walking. A few names that turn up in generic “stadium guide” listicles didn't check out (one supposed pub was demolished in 2020), so they're left off rather than guessed at.
- 1.
Thomas Rigby's
23-25 Dale Street
Right by Moorfields station, so it's the obvious first stop. A proper old Liverpool pub dating from 1852 — wood-panelled rooms, a solid range of cask ale, and a courtyard if the weather's playing ball.
- 2.
The Denbigh Castle
10 Hackins Hey
Tucked down one of Liverpool's oldest lanes, off Dale Street. A free house dating from 1815, cask ales and craft beer on, big screens for the early kick-offs, dog-friendly. No food, so it's not the one for a bite.
- 3.
Fliers Indoor Golf
27 Vandries Street
Us — and the closest of this lot to town, so there's less walking before you're sat down. Five Trackman bays if you fancy a game before kick-off, a fully licensed bar, and on match days we do the best sausage rolls in Liverpool. Stop in, then it's ten minutes on to the ground. Our own 2026/27 match-day parking passes are sold out, but the bar's open to everyone, no booking needed.
- 4.
The Bramley Moore
32-34 Regent Road
One of the last original pubs on the Dock Road, a stone's throw from the stadium. Old-school boozer, pool table, cheap and cheerful — and rammed on matchdays, so get there early.
